藉由本次複合式香山行政大樓的興建，我們創造香山區的團聚廣場，我們希望能提供給香山的居民一個科技、藝術與人文、融入社區的舒適洽公環境。創造健康與活力的自然空間及擴大社區參與，期盼藉由建築空間的美學，誘發居民、辦公人員與自然間的對話，進而提升對環境的認同感、對活動的參與感和香山地區公共服務品質。共許一個社區舒適環境，創造在地印象。

位於一樓的下凹大禮堂平時可以提供給居民使用，特殊節慶的活動，如中秋節於大禮堂內舉辦中秋月餅製作、摸彩助興等活動，於春節揮毫寫春聯等等，既結合各相關單位辦理公民民主教育、守望相助又達到社區團結的作用。

With the new Xiangshan District Administration Center, we hope to offer a smart, artistic and culturally rich space to the community residents. Introducing a new breath of natural wellness and vibrancy, the architectural space aims to encourage dialogues between its occupants and the surrounding nature and furthermore, elevating the sense of belonging with the local community and environment. Qualitied public service is made possible through this amiable and welcoming space.

 

The sunken auditorium on the ground floor is open to the public for special events and festivals, such as the Chinese Moon Festival and The Chinese New Year.  In this communal gathering space, the community members are brought together to converse and to celebrate with one another.
