2002成立事務所以來，從不間斷參與公共建築環境的設計，並在台灣獲得多項競圖首獎。所秉持的工作理念在於相信建築對人文與環境的持續影響力，認為建築設計應為對環境自省能力的表現，相信若能透過對公共議題的關懷，強化自身和台灣社會系統與制度的連結，將更能串連起空間專業之外的廣大力量，更多面向地宣示建築在公共領域的角色，而能更充分地與普羅大眾的真實生活對話並產生正向的影響。

本團隊為一整合型團隊，包含建築設計、空間計畫，室內設計、景觀設計、結構設計、機電空調設計與交通規劃專業者，期透過專業技術整合，提出具有前瞻性的建築設計概念，並落實符合本土環境現況、生活文化、營造技術與環境管理法規之整合與調整。本計畫團隊於設計階段、施工監造階段及後續營運管理計畫均可以不同方式持續與各專業團隊和業主密切合作、以確保設計內容符合業主需求及設計目標。

Founded in 2002, JH Day Building Workshop considers architectural design is the representation of architects’ ability in reflecting the relationship between architecture and environment. No Matter in thinking or working, JH Day Building Workshop always struggles in balancing the confrontation between personal spatial experiences and constructed architectural discourses. Instead of focusing on architectural formal presentation or design methodologies, JH Day Building Workshop puts more attention on how to define, reorganize and represent spatial experiences. By continuously participating the design of public architectural environment, the team expects to strength its connection to Taiwan’s social system and institution, therefore the team would be able to generate comprehensive dialogue with the proletariat and to create positive impacts on their daily life.
