公共生活三部曲 A Trilogy of Public Life

 

公共生活是開放社會的基石。良好公共生活創造出優質公共空間，反之，優質公共空間也會促進良好公共生活。

我們視設計優質的公共建築為職志，藉此我們介入社會關係並想像理想生活如何實踐。我們將超過20年公共建築的設計經驗歸納成三部曲，說明公共建築如何深深影響著我們的生活與未來，期望吸引更多人關注政策形成與設計，讓台灣的公共生活更加活躍。
 

首部曲：關於政策
首先以數字作為公共建築的第一層意涵，反映政府對開發量的設定與預期。

二部曲：關於設計
設計的編寫與社會息息相關，不僅是政策數字的落實，也是關於建築空間的社會設計力如何創造集體意識與都市文化。

三部曲：關於生活
最終，政策透過建築設計轉化為具體場域，落實在你我的生活之中，化為日常的經驗質地。

Public life is the cornerstone of an open society. A healthy public life creates vibrant public spaces; conversely, vibrant public spaces also foster a healthy public life.

We regard designing high-quality public architecture as our vocation. Through our work, we engage with social relationships and envision how ideal ways of living can be realized. We have summarized over 20 years of experience in public architecture design into a trilogy, illustrating how public architecture profoundly influences our lives and future. We hope to inspire more people to pay attention to policy-making and design, thereby making Taiwan’s public life more vibrant.

I: About Policy
First of all, we use numbers to represent the primary layer of meaning in public architecture, reflecting the government’s targets and expectations regarding development volume.

II: About Design
Design is closely connected to society. It not only implements the policy targets but also demonstrates how the social design of architectural spaces fosters collective consciousness and urban culture.

III: About Life
Lastly, policy is transformed into tangible spaces through architectural design, embedding itself in our lives and shaping the texture of our daily experiences.
